Why are some duas different to what we learnt from other books?

Many duas can be found with different narrations and different wordings. Therefore, we had to define a process for choosing a particular narration or wording from the various versions. We used three main criteria for choosing our duas:

1. Authenticity of the narration

2. Mention of faḍhail (virtues) in the aḥadith

3. Conciseness of wording and ease of memorisation

Inevitably other publications may have used different narrations and hence you may have found slight differences with ours. Our duas have been checked and verified so you can rely on them insha'Allah. It's possible that other versions are also acceptable but we have not chosen them for reasons related to our criteria.
